Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Wrong Button mobile game ("the app", "the game") handles information. The app is published by PuiVerzi ("I", "me", "my"). By using the app you agree to this policy.
1. Summary
- The game has no accounts, no sign-up and no login.
- I do not collect your name, email, location or any other personal information myself.
- Your scores and settings stay on your device.
- The game shows ads through Unity Ads and Unity LevelPlay. These services collect some device and advertising data, as described in section 3.
2. Information stored on your device
The game saves your best score, best round, best combo, games played, accuracy, and your sound and vibration settings. This data is stored locally on your device only. I do not receive it, and it is not sent to any server. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app deletes it.
3. Advertising and third-party services
The app is free and supported by ads. Ads are provided by Unity Ads and Unity LevelPlay (formerly ironSource). LevelPlay runs an ad auction, so ad networks participating in that auction may also deliver ads and receive data in the app. I do not control which networks take part or the content of their ads.
When ads are loaded and shown, these providers may automatically collect and process:
- Advertising ID (such as the Android Advertising ID)
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Device and software information (model, operating system version, language, screen size, network type, battery and memory status)
- App and ad interaction data (ads viewed, clicked or skipped, session and performance data)
- Crash and diagnostic data related to ad delivery
This data is used to deliver and measure ads, to personalise ads where you have given consent, to prevent fraud, and to maintain and improve their services. I do not receive this data in a form that identifies you, and I do not use any other analytics or crash-reporting service in the app.
Please read the privacy policies of these providers:
- Unity: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
- LevelPlay / ironSource: https://www.is.com/privacy-policy/
4. Consent and your ad choices
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another region that requires it, the app asks for your consent before personal data is used for advertising. Where personalised ads are not consented to, only non-personalised ads are shown. You can change or withdraw your choice where the app offers that option, or by clearing the app's data so the consent form appears again.
On Android you can also reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation in Settings โ Privacy โ Ads (menu names vary by device).
5. Children
The game itself is suitable for a general audience, but the app is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because ads are supplied by third parties, I cannot guarantee that every ad is suitable for all ages. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact me and I will help get it removed from any data I hold, which should be none.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because I do not hold personal data about you, requests about advertising data are best sent to the providers listed in section 3. You are welcome to contact me and I will point you in the right direction.
I do not sell personal information. Advertising partners may share or process data in ways that some laws describe as a "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising. You can limit this through the choices in section 4.
7. Data security and retention
Data kept on your device is protected by your device's own security. Data collected by ad providers is retained according to their policies. I keep no personal data about you.
8. International transfers
Ad providers may process data in countries other than your own. They are responsible for protecting that data under their own policies and applicable law.
9. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page, and the effective date above will change when it is updated.
